Service Partner Terms · last updated 2 September 2026
Clear hand-offs for independent partners.
1. Joining the network
A reply to an introductory email supplies a service profile but does not itself create an obligation to accept leads or pay a fee. Routing is enabled only after BoardFaults confirms activation, coverage, service modes, supported brands and any commercial arrangement in writing. Pilot participation may be free and non-exclusive.
2. Partner status and standards
The partner is an independent contractor and is not an employee, agent, franchisee or representative of BoardFaults. The partner must maintain accurate business and coverage details, appropriate competence, insurance, licences and safety procedures, and comply with consumer, data-protection, tax, environmental and other laws relevant to its work.
3. Offers and acceptance
A lead offer contains an anonymised technical summary. The partner may accept or decline using the stated email instruction before the offer expires. Acceptance confirms that the enquiry appears within the partner's stated capability and that it can make timely contact. BoardFaults may offer an expired or declined lead elsewhere. A lead is an opportunity, not guaranteed revenue or a guaranteed repair.
4. Customer information
Customer identity and contact details are disclosed only after acceptance. The partner may use them solely to assess, quote for and handle that enquiry, must protect them appropriately, must not add the person to unrelated marketing, and must promptly report a relevant data incident. Each party acts as an independent controller for the personal data it processes for its own service.
5. The repair contract
The partner is responsible for its own contact, inspection, quotation, contract, consumer information, cancellation rights, scheduling, collection, repair, warranty, invoicing and complaint handling. Unless separately agreed in writing, BoardFaults is not a party to the repair contract and does not collect the repair price for the partner.
6. Fees and reporting
No subscription or lead fee is payable unless the amount, trigger, taxes, invoicing process and invalid-lead rules have been confirmed in writing before the relevant lead is accepted. Where a fee applies, the partner must report the agreed lead outcome accurately and raise disputes within the stated invoice period. BoardFaults may issue invoices or payment links through its nominated payment provider.
7. Suspension and termination
Either party may stop future routing by email. BoardFaults may pause or terminate routing immediately for inaccurate profiles, poor response, unsafe work, misuse of data, serious complaints, insolvency, non-payment or legal/reputational risk. Existing customer obligations and provisions intended to survive termination remain in effect.
8. Liability
Each party is responsible for its own acts and omissions. To the extent permitted by law, BoardFaults does not guarantee lead volume, conversion, customer accuracy or payment and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Law and acceptance
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland and its courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory law. BoardFaults will identify the version applying when activation or commercial terms are confirmed. Continuing to accept routed leads after receiving that confirmation constitutes acceptance of the stated version.
